Ute stickers

The ute is the most common trade vehicle in the country and the most awkward one to sign. Racks, trays, canopies and tubs break up almost every panel you would want to use.

Where a ute decal actually fits

The front doors are the reliable surface — flat, large, and visible from the footpath and from other traffic. A tailgate works if it is not obscured by a tow bar or a load. Canopy sides are excellent and underused. Tray sides are usually the worst option: they are low, they get the most road spray, and they are the first thing a pressure washer is aimed at.

Two doors, one order

You need at least two identical decals, and most people want a third for the tailgate or canopy. That is why 10 is the entry quantity rather than one — it covers a vehicle, a trailer and a spare without a second order.

Racks and ladder frames

If a rack leg crosses the panel, do not run the decal behind it. Two smaller decals either side, or one decal placed lower and forward, reads far better than one large decal with a bar through the middle of your business name.

FAQ

Questions

What size for a ute door?

Most ute front doors take a 300 mm decal comfortably, and 200 mm is the safe choice on smaller utes or where a handle intrudes. Measure the flat area between the body lines before ordering.

Can I put one on a canopy?

Yes — smooth aluminium and fibreglass canopies take vinyl well. Textured or heavily ribbed surfaces do not; vinyl needs a flat surface to bond to across its whole area.
