Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what we do with it. Written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.

What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, along with the details you enter for printing — business name, phone, website, service line and any additional text — and any artwork file you upload.
We do not collect or store card details. Payment is processed by Stripe, and card information goes directly to them without passing through this site.
If you subscribe to our email list we store your email address and where you signed up from.
Analytics and cookies
Analytics only runs if you allow it. Nothing is loaded and no analytics cookie is set until you make a choice, and declining is a real decline rather than a delayed acceptance.
The site stores your cart in your browser's local storage so it survives a refresh. That is not a cookie, it never leaves your device unless you check out, and clearing your browser data removes it.
Why we hold it
- To produce and deliver what you ordered
- To send order confirmations, production updates and tracking
- To answer you if you contact us about an order
- To meet record-keeping obligations that apply to Australian businesses
- To send marketing email, but only if you explicitly opted in
Who we share it with
Your delivery details and your artwork are shared with the fulfilment provider that prints and posts your order, because that is the only way the order can be produced. Payment information is handled by Stripe. Transactional email is sent through our email provider.
Artwork files are stored privately. They are not published, listed or made publicly accessible, and links given to the fulfilment provider are signed and expire.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
Your artwork
You keep ownership of anything you upload. You give us permission to reproduce it for the purpose of producing your order, and you confirm at checkout that you have the right to use it.
We retain artwork for a period after the order so reorders and production issues can be handled, then delete it. If you want your artwork deleted sooner, email us and we will do it.
Requires legal review. This section is a reasonable starting point written for a small Australian online retailer, not legal advice. Have it reviewed against your actual business before you trade.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@stickermeshop.com.au and we will respond.
Australian privacy law gives you a right to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information.

Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Order data and artwork are stored in access-controlled services, artwork is never publicly readable, and administrative access requires authentication.
No system is perfect. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the regulator as Australian law requires.
